// Our Story

Built because
no one else would.

Cosmic exists because we kept looking for a functional mushroom product that would actually show its work — and couldn't find one.

// 01 · The Problem

Most of what's
on the shelf is hiding something.

Walk through Amazon's functional mushroom category and you'll see hundreds of brands with confident packaging, wellness language, and 5-star reviews.

Try to find where the mushrooms were grown. What they were grown on. Whether the soil and inputs were tested for heavy metals. Whether the lab results are public. Who actually made the product.

For most of them, the answer is some version of “we don't say.” The supply chain is opaque on purpose. Most powder gets imported in bulk from overseas, repackaged under a domestic-looking brand, and sold with marketing that implies premium without proving anything.

That's the industry norm. And it's a problem when you're putting something into your body every day.

// 02 · The Principles

We built the brand
we couldn't find.

01

Sourcing you can see

Every mushroom in every pouch is grown in Southern California on certified organic substrate. No anonymous overseas bulk. No white-labeled mystery powder. One growing facility, one state, full chain of custody.

02

Receipts on every batch

USDA Organic. Non-GMO Project Verified. Tested for heavy metals on every production run. Transparency ID testing applied. The certifications aren't marketing — they're contractual requirements we hold suppliers to.

03

Whole food, nothing else

No extracts. No fillers. No flow agents. No proprietary blends hiding doses. The mushroom is dried and ground — that's the whole process. What's on the label is what's in the pouch.

// 03 · What We Won't Do

A short list.

  • Source bulk powder from overseas extractors and white-label it as ours.
  • Use proprietary blends that hide individual ingredient doses.
  • Add fillers, flow agents, or excipients to bulk out the pouch.
  • Make medical claims we can't back with peer-reviewed research.
  • Pay influencers to sell something we haven't given them ourselves.
  • Run BS limited-time discount theater to manufacture urgency.
// The Result

Two products.
Both honest.
