This policy describes how Cosmic LLC (“Cosmic,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit c0smic.com or sign up for product updates.
What we collect
When you sign up to stay in the loop, we collect your email address and your product interest (Lion's Mane, Fantastic 4, or both). That's it. We do not collect your name, address, phone number, or any payment information at this stage.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard web server logs: IP address, browser type, page viewed, and timestamp. These logs help us diagnose problems and improve the site. We do not use cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics.
How we use it
We use your email address to:
- Send you product updates and new batch announcements
- Share batch lab reports (Certificates of Analysis) when new batches go live
- Send the occasional founder note — never more than once a month
We do not sell your information, rent it, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than the ones listed above.
Who we share it with
We use trusted third-party services to deliver our subscriber emails. They only see what they need to do their job:
- Vercel — site hosting (sees web server logs)
- Hostinger — email delivery (sees your email address when we send you mail)
We do not share your information with any other parties, except when required by law (a valid subpoena, court order, or similar).
How we protect it
Email addresses are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored only as long as needed to send launch updates. Our email provider uses industry-standard encryption at rest.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or by emailing us at team@c0smic.com.
You can request deletion of your email address from our records at any time by emailing the same address. We'll confirm within 30 days.
Children
Cosmic products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up for our updates, email team@c0smic.com and we'll remove the address promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business grows — for example, when we add full e-commerce, we'll expand sections covering payment processing, shipping, and order history. We'll post the updated policy here with a new effective date. For material changes, we'll also email our subscribers.
