Three pillars.
One operating principle.
Cognition, performance, and well-being aren't separate categories — they're three views of the same system. We built Cosmic to operate on all three.
We don't sell supplements. We sell a return to clarity.
Functional mushrooms have been used for thousands of years across cultures. Cosmic distills what worked — Lion's Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, Chaga, Turkey Tail — into clean, organic powders backed by lab certificates.
No psychoactives. No synthetics. No theater.
Cognition
Lion's Mane stimulates Nerve Growth Factor — the protein behind memory, focus, and neural plasticity. The foundation of every Cosmic blend.
Performance
Cordyceps oxygenates. Reishi steadies. Stack them and you operate at a different altitude — without crashes, jitters, or borrowed energy.
Well-being
Chaga and Turkey Tail rebuild the systems modern life depletes — immune, gut, adrenal. A holistic baseline, not a stimulant.
What we believe.
The functional mushroom category has been around for thousands of years. The science around it has caught up in the last twenty. The market still hasn't.
Walk into any wellness retailer and you'll see hundreds of products that pretend to be the same thing. Capsules with proprietary blends. Extracts standardized to one compound. Tinctures cut with alcohol or glycerin. Coffee blends with decorative microdoses. Each one optimizing for a marketing story.
We chose the most boring format on the shelf: the whole mushroom, dried, ground, and packaged. No solvents, no isolations, no theater. The full spectrum of compounds the organism actually produces, in the ratio it actually produces them.
The three pillars are not separate.
Cognition, performance, and well-being are how we describe the outcomes — but the underlying mechanisms overlap. Lion's Mane affects nerve growth factor, which influences both memory and gut-brain axis function. Cordyceps changes ATP production, which affects both physical endurance and cognitive stamina. Reishi modulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which influences both sleep quality and stress response.
The pillars are useful for explaining the brand. They're not useful for understanding the chemistry. The chemistry is one integrated system. That's why we sell four mushrooms in one blend — not because four is a marketing number, but because the underlying biology is connected.
What honesty looks like.
Honesty in this category means three things, in order:
- Sourcing you can verify. The mushroom species, the substrate it was grown on, the country it was grown in, the certifications it holds. All of those should be on the pouch and on the website. Anything less is a brand asking for trust it hasn't earned.
- Doses you can read. The exact gram weight of every species in the blend. The exact milligram weight of every adaptogen. No “proprietary blend” obfuscation. If a brand is hiding the dose, they're hiding the dose for a reason.
- Claims you can check. Cite the studies. Link the labs. Show the certifications. Don't make any health claim a peer-reviewed paper hasn't already established.
What we're not.
We're not a biohacker brand. We don't talk about stacks, protocols, or quantified-self routines. The functional mushroom category got captured by that aesthetic for a while and we don't want to compound it.
We're not a wellness-mystic brand. We don't talk about chakras, energy fields, or ancient secrets. Functional mushrooms have legitimate science. They don't need mystical scaffolding to be interesting.
We're a quality-first DTC supplement brand for people who read labels. That's the whole positioning.
